Remember, as soon as you eat carbohydrates, your body turns them into sugar. So, carbohydrates = sugar. In the example label below, there are 2 servings per container. If you eat 1 cup of this food, you are eating 31 grams of carbohydrates. If you eat the whole container (2 cups), then you are eating 62 grams of carbohydrates.
