President, Emerging Markets

For over a decade, Craig Gaites has collaborated with key players from across the healthcare landscape to develop and implement strategies for value-based care transformation. In his role as President, Emerging Markets, Craig leads the national expansion of Equality Health’s value-based care model. He is responsible for coordinating the deployment of Equality Health’s technology, services, and commercial functions, and ensures solutions that achieve the triple aim are stood up with a high degree of fidelity to Equality Health’s proven model. Prior to assuming his current role, Craig led Equality Health’s expansion into Texas as Market President.

Before joining Equality Health, Craig held several roles in the areas of growth strategy, strategic partnerships, and business development at Lumeris. While at Lumeris, he was responsible for driving health plan strategy in the Northeastern and Mountain regions of the United States through Lumeris’ relationship with Mutual of Omaha. Previously, Craig served as a leader of Lumeris Advisory Solutions where he advised both providers and payers in matters including value-based contracting, population health services organization design, and development of payer-provider joint ventures.

Craig began his career as consultant at the strategy consulting firm Bain & Company and has also held strategy and development roles at Evolent Health and CVS Health. He holds an MBA and a MS in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biological and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University.
