Local news angles:
- In addition to its national impact, HealthBI plays a significant role in Arizona’s healthcare community. CareEmpower is the care coordination technology for five out of seven health plans that are participating in Arizona’s groundbreaking new Complete Care mandate, in which Medicaid managed care plans in the state must join physical, behavioral health and community services together to treat all aspects of members’ healthcare needs. The company’s success is a key indicator of the growing recognition of Arizona as a healthcare technology and research hub.
- HealthBI is a division of Equality Health, which was named 2018 Business of the Year by the Greater Phoenix for the small to medium business category.
- The move to the historic Cooper’stown location is also an indication of this building’s reinvention from rock and roll warehouse to modern business habitat.
“Cooper’stown is an ideal fit for HealthBI, physically and psychologically. It’s been beautifully refurbished and is an energizing place to work. And as rebels who have quickly made our stake in the healthcare landscape by upending outdated status quos, we love and identify with its rock and roll legacy,” said Scott McFarland, President, HealthBI.
